Some rooms have a view - on Wednesday, October 18, the room at Vertigo will have a Carriveau. The Derrek Carriveau brings the latest edition of his headline show "A Room with a Carriveau" which highlights his wit, wordplay, and wrong-doings in all their splendid glory on topics such as raising bilingual children, hotel amenities, and style. Armed with a whiskey-warm voice and martini-dry charm, The Derrek Carriveau aims his boozy humor at everyday life for something acerbic and honest.
Opening the show will be two of the newest members of World Wide Comedy. In the first slot is England's own Ben Wheatland. While he is the baby and a bit posh, he is absolutely none of the other Spice Girls. His loose, off the cuff style has entertained audiences throughout Central Europe.
Up next is the intellectual stylings of Michal Plonka. Born in a superstition-riddled mountain town, Michal, who has been schooled in language science and journalism, feels it is his time to give feedback on once-omnipresent beliefs. Get ready to laugh yourself to the afterlife.
The evening will be hosted by the God-father of stand-up comedy in English in Wroclaw, Famous Jim Williams.
